Pioneer 151 e-Lite and Falling Skies on TNT

Hi guys. I have a Pioneer 6020 converted to a 151 through board swap. It's also calibrated by D-Nice. This combination should be the ultimate TV, however, when I'm watching Falling Skies on TNT, there's lots of dark scenes, but there is no detail in the dark scenes, just a lot of black. I thought Kuros should excel in this area. Is it just the show itself, or something else?

It's the show.

Why not give it a real test by way of a Blu-ray with dark scenes (The Dark Knight being an exemplary choice)?

Vinnie97, I've already tested it with Blu Rays, including Dark Knight. It looks fantastic, especially after D-Nice's calibration. That's why I'm asking about Falling Skies. The dark scenes are atrocious. You can't see anything except their faces.

Well, sounds like a bad source/show as confirmed by D, since you know what the panel is capable of doing. smile.gif
