I don't know if I've ever mentioned this before, but I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Flood Zone. What a POS map. Too many windows, too many levels, too many rooftop campers. Let's not even get started on how stupid the map is once it's flooded. Granted, I've only [played BF3 and BF4, but this is hands down the WORST map between the two games. I think I'd like Lancang Dam if it weren't for the conquest lag and the C conquest flag. Going through the water to get to the C flag leaves you a sitting duck.
I HATE ROOFTOPS! (Makes Dawnbreaker less fun, and it's yet another reason to hate Flood Zone) We all probably can't even count how many times we lost a match because some garbage 12 year old thinks he's some hotshot sniper and he sits on those roofs the whole round pew pew-ing (isn't that sniper sound the worst sound effect in the history of gaming?) at everyone. DICE, enough with the rooftops! Also, enough with letting people cap from non-accessible-without-a-spawn-beacon spots. If you can't take an elevator, climb a ladder, or take some stairs to get there, you shouldn't be able to cap an objective. Personally, I think you should have to be on the same plane as the flag, but I know that will never happen.
I play this game because it's fun having people to talk to while gaming. It's also fun having competent teammates while playing the game. If you guys didn't play this game, I would have probably given up a while ago. I stopped playing CoD because my connection to that game was a travesty and I ran into these issues. Last night was horrible for me. I was shooting guys and they'd flinch and start bleeding, but I wouldn't get any hit markers and they wouldn't die. I was watching people teleport around the maps. I got one-shot killed multiple times, and I am sure I was at 100%. I'd go from 100% to dead in an instant. My claymores wouldn't even work. I had one explode right in a guy's face and it only did like 50 damage. I had times where I was right behind a guy and I hit his back multiple times with the shotgun and he just refused to die. It was so frustrating. It was like some people just wouldn't die.
Oh, and I still get a blue-screen from time to time. This game has really turned me a bit sour towards DICE and even more sour towards EA. Even with it's launch issues, BF3 was never this bad. At the very least it was always a solid, stable experience. I didn't have lag issues. I didn't have so many BS problems (which is why I kicked CoD to the curb in the 1st place and even tried this game). The only problems with BF3, for the most part, were balancing problems. Too much crap was OP and that needed to be fixed. As it stands, I really can't see myself playing BF4 for the same amount of time as BF3, it's just too frustrating for me.
