No. Nothing wrong at all says nerd 2 to nerd 1!
I've thought about whether gaming is pathetic or not over the years but came to some conclusions:
What makes an RPG nerd different than a fantasy sports nerd? Both are typically out of shape playing with numbers regarding people and things they will never physically touch or be.
What's so special about building a model or rebuilding cars vs gaming? That model offers a sense of accomplishment but takes a lot of time to complete and ends up collecting dust anyway. You can flip cars or have some awesome toy but can go to Korea and farm gold in WoW for cash or race safely from your couch.
Really there isn't anything wrong with any hobby you enjoy, except if your modelling your life after Dexter or Breaking Bad, those hobbies are not so good
. All hobbies have a time and money investment but as long as your whole life isn't absorbed by it who cares. Its what you enjoy, be it gardening or gaming or both.
