Ah F_CK!mad.gif

FWIW, SyFy doesn't allow for watching previous episodes at their site.
However, Showcase.ca does.
Unfortunately, their website won't let American audiences view them.rolleyes.gif

Look back on this thread for a post from keenan. He gives a way around that. I didn't end up going that route=paid $1.99 on amazon for the one I missed. But the site keenan mentioned had a 1 week free trial so you can use it and see the episode for free.

For the first time, mine failed to record an episode as well. Second Wave will be reshown Aug 24 at 2:30 AM eastern time. Unfortunately, the episode after that one, Second Guessed will air before the rerun of Second Wave.

My DVR (yes I typed VCR) also did not record the episode. Thankfully, Charter on Demand has each episode available the following Monday.

That's all Charter offers in my area (wink) It's right next to my reel to reel tape player. Listening to some tunes in my car on the 8 track. Such memories of electronics gone by! If you can't laugh at yourself....

I never had an 8 track. I really liked my reel-to-reel deck though. I STILL have some laserdisks and even a few CED (RCA) disks that I just cannot seem to part with. ...memories of electronics gone by! indeed. rolleyes.gif

I'm still liking this show, for the most part. On the other hand, Under the Dumb has been getting just STOOPIDER every week. Continuum, not so much.

Still have several LDs myself.redface.gif

Now why doesn't Syfy put their damn shows on their damn website so I can view the ones I misses? Dammit.

I have a box of LD's and still have a player. Several multi-disc "special editions" and those cost over $100. Now we get mad if we have to pay over $20 for BD with extras.

If you have Netflix WI, keep an eye out after season 2 completes because it may show up there. Season 1 was available on right after it completed. No commercials to skip over either.

Probably a rights issue, the producing company may own the streaming rights and Syfy didn't want to pay for them, or it might even be Showcase, exercising an exclusivity clause.
You can buy it on amazon for 2 bucks(3 for HD). No offense guys but it isn't that hard to find.

Why the heck not? smile.gif Actually, I get it, and I remember how PO"d I was a couple weeks ago when it didn't record. This isn't the kind of series you can skip an episode...

Haha. I have a few of those $100 LD's too. To quote Bobby Dylan, the times they are a changing.

I have Netflix. Not sure what the WI stands for? Wisconsin?tongue.gif

Lets correct that. It's not that hard to find if you want to pay to watch it again. I'm already paying DirecTV the privilege to watch it. Now does Amazon offer this in their Prime streaming service? $3 is half a shot of Black Bush.wink.gif
post #201 of 466
Amazon Prime is only good for watching old shows. Bezos is too smart to let you use it for anything useful, such as for watching episodes of shows that are currently airing. If Amazon Prime did that, it would be even cheaper than Netflix.

Watch Instantly, it's Netflix's streaming video product.

You'd rather have Black Bush than Continuum?

Couldn't resist, and I'm very ashamed about it.

Currently I watch Under the Dome via prime, last time I checked it was a new show?
CBS is running a special promotion with Amazon to make Under the Dome available to Prime members. The Amazon homepage had ads plastered all over it promoting the show during its first few weeks. No other show has gotten such treatment, AFAIK.

Amazon paid part of the production costs upfront to gain same week streaming on the show. Otherwise, CBS wouldn't have sold them rights to show it as it aired.

Well, it depends on more than Black Bush....there has to be other ASSets as well....
On a hunch I decided to check if Continuum was going to record tonight. Nope. My DVR was going to pass... again.mad.gif This only happens on the Syfy channel. Is my DVR trying to tell me something?
Bummer about you guys getting missed recordings. My TWC EPG hasn't missed one yet, including tonight. That has to be a first, as in TWC is usually the first provider to mess up.
