If you can find a neighbor with Comcast they have it in their OnDemand section.

I just checked and FIOS does to, so that's another option.

I bought the season on VUDU which had it on sale for $24.99 for HDX. Now it is back up at $34.99. Problem is they didn't post the first episode until Sunday or a day behind Amazon. The second episode isn't up yet either. And the first episode didn't want to work with Chromecast so I ran it on my BD player. VUDU updated their app again this week so I'll see if they fixed the Chromecast problem.

Great tip, thanks. While not all Comcast markets have it yet, in some markets like the SF bay area TiVo's are OnDemand capable. I don't rent any Comcast equip other than a CableCARD for my TiVo Roamio so that option works great for me. smile.gif

Dish has it in their on demand as well. The first episode anyway...

You should probably set a timer to record the remaining episodes at this point, because it won't get any better. If you select to record all episodes by name, you'll probably get lots of repeats, and if you only try to record new episodes, you won't get any of them, since none of them will be considered new anymore.

Already set the SP to new and repeats and it's picked up the next episode in the to do list.

Setting up a new Season Pass seems to work - missed the first episode on DirecTV from last years season pass so just bought Episode 1 on Amazon mad.gif

A lot of good shows starting up again Continuum. Orphan Black and Game of Thrones.......

TWC's EPG automatically picked it up from last year's season pass, no muss; no fuss. Probably because, unlike the satellite services, they don't bother with the affairs of our Canadian neighbors.

Kind of a wild beginning to the season! Didn't really expect them to go this route. Won't say any more until all the malingers catch up. wink.gif

Vudu did fix Chromecast in the update last week and the show looked better than it ever did on Comcast. New episodes aren't available until Sunday though.

I just noticed that DIRECTV has an OnDemand section but the Syfy section doesn't have this show.

This is probably due to it being a licensed show from Showcase and not a Syfy "original." Being that Syfy is a Comcast then they probably negotiated the rights for OnDemand as part of the deal for Syfy carrying the show. It will be interesting to see if Continuum season 3 episodes appear on Hulu beginning May 4th though web only. But then these episodes would also be available on Syfy.com.

Yup, that would be my guess as well, one of the advantages of vertical integration.

I'm switching to Comcast next week. From reading on here it looks like they have this on their on-demand service. Fingers crossed.

I don't know why... and it certainly isn't from anything in the CA thread... just my own sixth sense about these kinds of shows... but I feel like eventually we are headed towards a revelation that while Kira has been fighting all this time to preserve her reality/future... she ultimately will be presented with evidence that suggests her future should never have existed and that the endgame for this series will probably be her sacrificing her timeline to restore what was the original (and probably as yet unseen) uncorrupted timeline.

It just has that kind of feel to it as they move along.

I wouldn't be surprised. Kiera's timeline is a pretty grim one.

Moving on to some discussion of the first two episodes .....
I guess I'll put it in spoiler tags for now as some people are trying to get to the episodes.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I had hoped that with the Freelancers capturing everyone that the Liber8 storyline would be drastically changed, but now that they are back a week, it is back to just about the same thing again.
I am wondering about the whole Kellog and Emily killed Escher business - was there a parallel scene to that in Season 2 in the previous timeline that was just a little different because of the two Alec's?

I guess it is the last 2 episodes of Season 2 which are being undone by Alec going back a week. Is Elena's CPS suit still out there and will Kiera stop Travis from getting it this time around?
How long until the Freelancers reappear and get Kiera to eliminate one of the two Alecs?

Lots of potential for confusion. I hope the writers have it all straight.

Episode 3 was "meh" at best with the cockroach people theme. The good part was the near interaction of the two Alexs.
We need Keira back in her cat woman suit big time.

It had the same old Liber8 stuff we had been seeing in the first two seasons. The most interesting thing about it was what was going on with Alex.
