BT.1886 Newbie question

I'd like to try the BT.1886 gamma formula in CalMAN 5, but am confused. Hopefully you can answer this for me...
Do I need to measure MLL with my meter and input that manually into CalMAN's "Black Level Target" option field? Will a C6 even measure 0% black accurately?
Do I need to include the measurement of 0% black when doing grayscale? Or can I just run the 10%-100%?
Thanks!

without knowing your display it's hard to say for certain if the C6 can get an accurate Y value for the minimum output of your display, but it should be able to read black for any plasma or LCD (assuming they don't shut the lights completely off).

You have two choices when using BT.1886, either use a set of datapoints that includes 0%, or enter the black level target manually.
