Possible solution for protecting outdoor screens?

Now I don't have an outdoor screen but reading through the forums I do see that a lot of people have issues with protecting their outdoor screen. I came across the pretty awesome stuff that could possibly help with that! The guy in the video on this page says it has a slight frosty finish so I don't know what it would do to the reflected image, but if it works it has real potential!

I've read it has a semi-frosted finish, which means it will probably hot spot and ruin the picture. I may test it out though.

Let me know if you do!

If it is sprayed on in the Duster fashion, hot spotting would be greatly lessened. But as to the coating causing any blurring of the image because it has a frosty-like property, that is what would concern me most.
