12x19 dedicated room, is the MITSUBISHI HC7800D for movies & games

This seems to be the one to get in my price point ($1000-1500). I had been looking at the BENQ 1070 trying to keep it under $1000, but I want this to be a great theater.

My main use will be movies and Xbox games (well, maybe Playstation if Xbox keeps it up). I do want good 3D.

The room is dedicated, 12x19 so no light issues.

It will be ceiling mounted and I'm thinking 110-120" fixed screen.

NewEgg has this for $1150 right now.

Any others that I should look at first?
My Amex extends the warrantee one year, but should I get the 2 year extended?

I would consider the BenQ W7000 as well which can be had for around $1,500...

Very good black level performance and solid brightness from this model which helps it to shine in a proper theater environment.

The W7000 along with the 7800D are on the top of my list. Choosing this is so much more difficult as I can't try them like I did my speaker setup.

I can get the 7800D for $1100 right now. Do you know the differences/benefits between these two?

If I stepped up by $1000, so say a $2500 projector...what kind of difference will I see? I want a great picture, I don't want to "settle" especially at $1500.
