Receiver,amp,equalizer help

I am trying to build a hi-fi setup. Just for music listening. I currently have four Bic America RTR EV15's and a Cerwin Vega CV-900 amplifier. I am looking for a Receiver and graphic equalizer, that will work with what I have so far. I would prefer to have a cd player, turntable, equalizer, and receiver be of the same brand. I am not brand partial to anything, I just like everything to match. I realize my amplifier wont match but I can live with that. Does anyone know a company that makes these products that will work with what I have so far? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Why?

Almost all domestic audio products will interface perfectly well with equivalents from another company. There is no reason to keep it all to one brand to 'match'.

Additional information such as budget, location, new or used will help people narrow down responses to something that you want.

Is it correct that your amp only accepts balanced inputs?

If so, you need to be sure the reciever has balanced outputs.

The Marantz AV7005 is available refurbished for $800

And you may not need an equalizer.....

---but to satisfy your name-brand fetish, you could go with:

Marantz UD5007 universal disc player ($400)
Vintage Marantz 6300 turntable ($750)

Of course there are other turntable options. cool.gif

Complete and utter rubbish. You simply need the correct cable.

Of course; should have known there would be a cable-option.

My bad.

...but if the budget exists, I still like my blind recommendations.

I understand that all brands will work well together, it's just kind of an OCD thing. Maybe I will just have to get over it. Thank you for the quick reply! smile.gif
