SONY VPL-HW55ES : New SXRD Model from SONY IFA BERLIN 2013 - Page 8

To my understanding, in Canada the 55 does not come with a bulb. Not sure about the US.

As for bundled glasses, I am not sure as I have got conflicting info on that.

It was listed as available on the Sony Store site on Thursday. I looked at the specs and a second bulb was not listed.

In the US, it does not come with a spare lamp. It now comes with a free lamp voucher.

Having the voucher is probably a better idea for warranty claims if there's a problem with the lamp. The warranty is figured from the date the lamp is shipped. Just make sure you take a picture of the voucher as a backup.

No one here got this puppy yet? FYI is already out.

Have it on order - still not shipping from what I heard today from my local rep.

They are on sale, from 2 or 3 days ago. I can't mention or put here from where (link), but I can say is from CA (California).

According to Sony Store website the 55ES is in Stock with estimate shipping date of November 7th. Also it mentions that spare lamp is included.

Official site is always slower than "other channels". cool.gif

Btw, that $4K is "expensive" compared to the price I have.

Yesterday we got the camera and photic to enjoy wink.gif

How wrong I was somewhat touched yesterday and before removing the Sony 95, just took a picture without setting too the camera to capture. I have indicated the gamma settings for although he should have done the same gamma, having 55 the possibility of putting a gamma probe measured up to 2.55 (gamma 2.6) and 95 2.1 (gamma 4), put on 55 to 2.35 gamma (gamma 2.4) that was the way to that caliber with the best image result for my taste, and I thought it appropriate to confront the most you gave using the configuration options of each projector. Without realizing it I dropped a roll, lol, come to put the photo wink.gif

And now a few shots today, setting the camera better, but not obsessed with the settings wink.gif

Lamp will not be in the box. Here in the US Sony reported to me that it will be a lamp voucher.

Pompy, I thought I was making a funny in an earlier post (I was just playing around) and said that we needed to Google translate one of your posts. Apparently the 'Moderator' didn't like that and gave me an infraction and removed that post, LOL! I thought it was funny, and was just joking. Apologies if it offended you or anyone else, but I'm a kidder so you can't take me serious sometimes. That goes for you too Mods. tongue.gif

I don't want to get banned from here. I just like to joke around at times. Funny thing is, you're actually translating (which is cool). More people need to know how to use that feature...and spell check for pete sake.

Anywho, no hard feelings and we do appreciate your invaluable input. Cheers! smile.gif
