Because maybe he would not have killed somebody and instead would have build a crazy setup!

Belichick had this to say:

"We made a personnel change today that frees up our salary cap."

Lord, I apologize, and be with the starvin' Pygmies down there in New Guinea. Amen.

Sounds like something he would say.

Such a shame that two lives are gone now. Hernandez never really knew how good of a life he really had. Young and rich and a football star. Many dream of that life style.

He has a newborn baby. So a kid without a dad if he goes away on the 1st degree murder charge.

He's an imbecile. "oh you talked to someone I don't like? I'm gonna shoot you in the face now"

I couldn't imagine not seeing my kids grow up.

I believe the victim was dating his wife sister and beat her up pretty bad. I also believe his group around him was related to her (like his friend was brother of girl got beat up)

Victim was killed execution style I heard.

I didn't hear about him beating her up but I did hear the rest of what you said. I do want to know what the motive is because I want to know what would cause a man to throw 12 million dollars away and his entire life. That's the 12 mil dollar question.

That will all come out soon enough. The information released by the police indicates that at least one accomplice is probably in custody and talking. They haven't said so, but some of the evidence must have come from someone who was involved.
Hernandez should have stuck with his day job, or at least watched a few episodes of the Sopranos and CSI before doing such a lousy job getting rid of the evidence. Even Barney Fife could have connected all the dots with this case.

True^

But drunk people shooting someone is often not a well thought out murder strategy.

In fact, intelligent people don't commit murder because they understand the penalty if caught. Clearly his judgement was lacking in multiple areas.

Sounds familiar.

My bad. He had a 40 million dollar contract plus endorsements.

The death toll is up to 3 for now. Two others also injured. This is almost like a natural disaster now.

It now seems that he had gang ties in his hometown, so I guess even Belichick couldn't take the hood out of the boy.

WEEI had the sheriff , a lawyer, a caller from the Latin Kings claiming he was in that gang.... etc.

Been listening to it all week. You can probably get it in NH, but they have on demand radio streaming too,: http://audio.weei.com/

Interesting story- but sad too.

There are now pictures of him on the web in Bloods colors, and he has a Bloods tat.

I always thought he was a good kid. He said the right stuff in interviews. They showed his new born baby last season. Who would have guessed?

They arrested two others. One in CT and one in Florida.

Money doesn't always change character. And murder happens to be one of the personality traits he held on to.
