I was going to o post information as to when I crossed the original bridge, in both directions, but have stumbled into some obstacles in doing so.
The first one was Google itself. They went and changed the API key that programs need to use to access the maps. So the program I was using on the laptop, wouldn't work, until I found out why and downloaded the fix.
The next issue was again Google. Their maps do not show the border between Denmark and Sweden, because it is in the water. Land borders are shown. So, I have no clue as to where that location is on the bridge. Does anyone have the lat/lon as to where that is on the bridge (in decimal would be fine)?
At the time the trip was being taken, there were issues with the software not working correctly. You could write out their format tracker file, but it would have a hard time reading it. I've discovered that I don't have the binary dump from the GPS tracker or their tracker file for the segment that I recorded going across the bridge. I do have a GPX and KML file. Doesn't do much good with this program (I've asked their support about it).
I do have the data for the return trip. Unfortunately, the program that displays the data does not display the UTC time value, instead displaying time since the start of data recording. Doesn't display lat/lon either. You can get a graph of speed, altitude and distance traveled, but no hard info on time and place. BTW, the data was sampled every second.
As I haven't seen the original show yet (I'm working on that), were the body parts placed on the portion of the bridge going to Sweden, or the portion going to Denmark?
And I thought this was going to be easy
