Any of the 2013 plasmas have decent input lag?

Looking for another set that offers 16ms or less input lag for competitive gaming. Do any new offerings have input lag this low?

Thanks!

According to www.displaylag.com the lowest input lag plasma tv has 27ms. I ordered mine this week and I speed run video games so input lag does matter to me. Once I get my tv I can let you know how the lag is. If you're looking for something else than plasma then there's the sony 802a which has 17ms.

How do they conduct testing on that site? Because it says the 51" sammy e6500 has 41 in PC mode, but through the testing I've seen and done, (and according to other websites), it has 16ms in HDMI PC mode.

They use the Leo Bodnar lag testing device, which almost always returns higher values than the old cloned timer methods and is generally believed to be more accurate. The only 2013 models I would say are acceptable for majority gaming use for those who understand and care about input lag are the Pansonic S60/S64 and Samsung F5500, and even they're not outstanding. The U50/U54's at 27ms are 2012 models.

Hi,
I had the e6500 and like a fool I sold it chea to a mate and spent loads more on a e8000 for a 3d option it never had :'( ( checkerboard )

The e6500 is extremely fast with input lag, in 3d it feels like 2d wo it is a very very good 3d gaming tv.

However my e8000 that has same panel has more 2d input lag that notice and to me its a none 3d gamer as there is more input lag in 3d than 2d by quite abit.

The 1st day I had the e8000 I kicked myself in the ass for being a fool, the e65000 is the best for gaming by far.

I allways use a pc label as it's allways faster than a game label with TV's ive had.
