ripped blurays to file structure, wont playback

Thread Starter
Sold my '95 and got my new 105.

One great thing about the '95 was connecting hard drive to front USB, and playing back my personal blurays that were ripped to file structure.
You just entered the folder and it auto mounted instantly. I already know about ISO's not working, and dont use them.

THe 105, doesn't do anything. I have the latest beta firmware.

Are there steps to be taken to get it to work, like a noticeable folder structure, or is it now abandoned?

BTW, this is legit, personal blurays; I prefer file playback from direct connect, versus spinning the optical media, just preference.

thx

You should post this in the BDP-105 owner's thread.

The studios discovered what you were doing and don'[t like it. They require the player manufacturers to remove those features.

There is still a workaround (which I have not tried myself). You create an AVCHD folder, copy in your Blu-ray backup structures, and bless it with a special utility. See: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1432162/official-oppo-bdp-103-owners-thread/9840#post_23448675
