Art of Flight

Thread Starter
I rented this from Redbox last night and was blown away with the cinematography of the film. Its a documentary on snowboarding. I'm not a snowboarder, but I will buy it to use as a demo movie for my home theater. The only negative I would give is it's not widescreen. In addition the soundtrack is awesome too. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent disc for sure. I have watched my copy quite a few times over the months.

Not sure what was going on with your rental but this film is widescreen with a 1.78 AR.

I think calling it a "documentary" is a bit generous. A documentary implies that some information is conveyed. This is just an extended stunt reel for extreme snowboarders.

I saw this at the Dolby reference theater. It was so loud I felt like I'd been bludgened over the head with a sledgehammer for 90 minutes. smile.gif

+1 on the "documentary" comment but the pictures are simply amazing. I came across this when I was viewing the OPPO BDP-105 at the dealer and was just blown away by the PQ. Plus as a snowboarder I can somewhat appreciate what these guys are doing. way to crazy for me, though...cool.gif
