The sad part is I really like the pic on the f9000 but the darn thing just started having problems (The tv will play half of the screen on the device I have it plugged into and the other half is black) and the parts....panel, just like the 75" f8000 are on back orde....so I have two 7000 tvs that sometimes do half of what they should. Not to mention my f8000 is pretty much usless at this point due to its problems so that's almost 15000 I have spent in Samsung TVS just to be told the parts for both tvs are on back order:mad:
You're very popular here, being you seem to be the (only) early adopter posting here.
First, sorry to hear of you having issues with both of the tv's , UN75F8000 and UN65F9000, bummer and I mean that.
I had the UN75F8000 for a couple months and learned a lot about what's it's strengths and weakness are and ended up returning it. Not a tv out that doesn't have plus or minuses. In the 75" size, the only tv out, and the 75F8000 is really a wonderful tv!
You said the F9000 goes black on half the screen. Top is black, bottom picture, or left side black, right side picture kind of thing?
What's the problem with the F8000?
I trust Samsung will stand behind their product and fix it or refund your money.
Best of luck,
