Sometimes you have to retry twice or more.
Make sure you target the right video 4K

I have been having the same issue. I think it is time to pay. I paid the $10 bucks. I will let you know if it returns.

Well from what I understand it's You tube that has blocked the download of 4k content.

I tried another paid down loader called VIDEO DOWNLOAD CAPTURE.

It is proposing to download the file in 4k, but the result is always 1280x720.

I'm sure it's You tube that is screwed.

I just realized that I had 8 4K clips I downloaded from youtube a few days ago that I deleted due to the Samsung not being able to play them, but I found them in my RECYCLE bin and restored them all!!! So I have every one that I had wanted and some of them are 4 minutes long!!! Oh yeah, I am so glad I did not empty out my recycle bin!!!

I have been in talks with the developers of 4k download and another software program called Video download capture.

They are in the process of rewriting algorithms (hacking) the you tube site.

I am sure that in a few days time all will be good.

Well. I had the chance today when I got home from work to use PavTube and stitch together 7 4k clips without the watermarks using George's advice and let me tell you that the clips are breathtaking on this TV! There is one since from the Asian cites that showed the city completely black and I have never seen an LCD produce that kind of Black level before with bright lights all around! Truly a site to behold! I can't wait for some major 4k content to be the norm!

Also, if you have a Sony, the file name will not work for your TV.

Is it not possible to split the files or to upload only the best files?
Skydrive is only $10 for 20GB upgrade to give total of 27 with the first 7GB free. Anyone know if a folder can be shared out to someone to upload. I'd be glad to pay the $10 and share a folder for Emes to upload too smile.gif

Each file ist splitted in 4 1080p files (a,b,c,d) to display the full resolution. This is a Must for the Samsung to play a real 4k-file. Compare this post: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1495361/samsung-uhd-xx-f9000-xx-f9xxx-how-to-play-4k-video-from-usb#post_23863020

The Screenshot shows the files-structure.

Very interesting file structure. It is different from George's by a little. I see that the first file of each one does not have to have the .mp4sub at the end and they can have a name after the letter a,b,c, and d. Very interesting! I wonder if this name setup give you the ability to loop the videos back to back as the current way we have it per George's directions will not loop. Seems like this will make it possible!

For those with Macs anyone having problems running Pavtube on Mavericks? I've tried a couple Macs and each one will kernel panic when attempting to edit the video.

Anyone find any other apps that will perform the convert outside MediaFlow and Pavtube? Would really like convert some 4k test video's smile.gif

Thanks all!
