Polk RTI A3/A5 v. Pioneer FS52/BS22

Polk LSiM 703 v RTI A3/A5 v Pioneer's Andrew Jones line.
I listen to 320 kbps MP3 music (rock, acoustic, metal, hip-hop, pop, electronic) and watch blu-rips, some uncompressed some compressed.

So three speakers of way different price ranges, I just don't want to spend too much on stuff that I may not even hear the difference.

Pioneer's "Andrew Jones line'...lol??? that is a hoot!

That would include speakers all the way from the $150 BS-22 to some speakers that cost over $20,000 per pair.

You need to get a LOT more specific about particular models, and the associated equipment that will be used to drive them.

Actually, for that mix of music, the BS-22 speakers and a good subwoofer would probably sound good to you.

Okay so the Polk LSiM 703 is probably out of my range. so I need to decide between getting RTI A3s, RTI A5s or Pioneer SP-FS52 or BS22s.
I will be watching movies and eventually be getting surrounds and a center as well, and thats why I'm considering the Floorstanders instead. I have a Polk PSW10 which I would eventually upgrade as well. My current amp is a Onkyo TX-SR309

You should expect better midrange with the A5 if you have the coin and room for them. What kind of sub do you have?

I have a Polk PSW10 right now and wouldn't be able to upgrade for some time.

You can get a pair of Pioneer BS-22 speakers for only $100 from Amazon. They would be a bargain if they were priced at $250.

The Polk PSW505 is way way better than the puny PSW10, and you can find them for under $200 sometimes.

how would you compare the pioneer to the two polk choices?
the psw505 is better but i don't know if it's a worthwhile upgrade. 40hz vs 28hz.

so a friend decided to give me two Triangle bookshelfs, they will arrive in a few weeks. (Triangle Plaisir ZETA Wenge). I can't find anything about them online. Has anyone heard them? Now there's the issue of getting speakers that match.
