looking to upgrade old htpc

This is what i have 2 years ago

this is my zacate build

- mobo/cpu/video combo ($150)
GIGABYTE GA-E350N-USB3
- case ($40)
APEX MI-008
- ram ($25) (order 4gb, will use only 2gb)
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB)
- hard drive ($80)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4
- dvd drive ($20)
ASUS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM
- keyboard/mouse ($50)
OIGEAR
- remote ($15)
Windows 7 Media Center MCE PC Remote Control and Infrared Receiver


Now I would like to upgrade it with intention to play some gaming, mainly League of Legend.
Looking to upgrade mother board / cpu with video capable of doing league of legend game.

I'm not familiar with this game, but if this is your primary motivation for upgrading, then you need to start looking at a CPU and GPU combo that you can afford and will give you acceptable performance in the game and will not be overly loud in a home-theater environment. Then you can back-fill any other requirements like motherboard, storage, memory, etc.

Are you a casual gamer who just wants to play the game and does not care about top of the line graphics? Or are you a serious gamer and want the best experience that your budget allows?

it will be casual gaming when nephew come over, mainly league of legend and minecraft.

thinking of getting AMD CPU/mother board combo at microcenter

miniITX mother board
but don't know about processor A8, or A10

I'd buy as much CPU as you can afford.
