I just received my Behringer NU6000 Amp. I had wanted to use it to replace my 250watt plate amp running my subs. My receiver is a Denon AVR4311CI. The Sub preout works great for subs to begin with but now I find the gain on the receiver does not push out enough signal required to push this amp to do much of anything. I get the idea of whats going on and have read here on the ProAmp rating thread somewhere in there I believe I read someone was using some box to gain match the receiver with the amp. It wasn't a Samson S-covert. Which is difficult to figure out the simple solution needed for this signal gain to happen from the one's they make.(cost was an issue from the one's I looked at. If someone could recommend one from them or one that you folks use on their Proamp's and recommend that doesn't break the bank just to use this power amp.
From Denon subout 2 RCA to...
Input used is RCA to 1/4 3pole (stereo) plugged into input A and B Channel
Output Channel A and B using Speakon connector (1+ , 1-) on each channel
I've tried adjusting Subwoofer output to +12 and the lights never flicker on the NU6000 my sub slightly moves.
Thank you all.
