Stuff that comes "free" with equipment is certainly no better quality than what we can get from Monoprice.
My only concern is that cables that get moved around a bunch, or subjected to stresses by movement (like on a camera) and use, especially in professional environments, should have high quality construction. A/V cables meant for pro audio/video generally have more robust terminators, strain relief, etc. than the consumer AV-targeted stuff.
But if this is not "mission critical" stuff - any concern can also be alleviated by having some spare cables on-hand. The pricing on Monoprice gear makes that a no-brainer.
