Hello all

Long time lurker, learned alot from reading these forums, great resource.

Just moved into my first house, and would like some help deciding between a 60/65" LCD/Plasma or a projector and screen.
Biggest obstacle to the projector is the very high amount of ambient light. There is a small courtyard in the middle of the house surrounded by sliding glass doors.
One of the walls of the living room is glass sliding doors with 3 big windows/skylights above close to the ceiling.

I have attached a floor plan as well as pictures that I hope will make things clearer. (Pictures are a mix of my own and from the realtor home listing, resulting in different furniture).
Is this too much ambient light for a projector?

Video link below, hopefully will help show the room better:

I put the TV on the fireplace mantle for now while I figure the setup out. Old owner had small 32" TV mounted above fireplace, with power cord installled behind mount and fished HDMI cord to the side of the fire place.
But I feel that mounting a tv above fireplace would be too high, esp. w/ a bigger TV.

I could use the side wall to mount the TV/projector screen (this is my favorite option). but that would limit the seating options.

At night, it is really dark. Primary use will be movies/video games and casual TV watching.

Any help and input would be greatly appreciated.
