New install - Paradigm Sub 10 not enough for 3500/ft3?

I'm finishing up my install and I think my sub is not big enough for the room. I brought it up with the HT dealer but he thought it would be plenty. I'm not sure if I'm just used to "too much bass" or if the sub is actually not moving enough air for this size room. The options are to buy another Sub 10(cheapest) or sell the first Sub 10 and buy a Sub 12 or maybe a 15. What do y'all think?

The reason I feel like it is too small is there is I can't really "feel" the bass. I can if I turn the overall room volume way up but it doesn't seem balanced at lower volumes. I move the power knob up from the factory 50% to about 80% last night but haven't had enough time to test thoroughly. This system is used exclusively for movie/TV.

Why not sell it and get two subs from some of the great ID sub companies that can be found of these forum? You'd get a LOT more bang for the buck and IMO better subs.

Take a look at HSU, SVS, Rythmik and PSA.

While I'm not too familiar with the performance of a Sub 10, two subs is generally better than one to really smooth out the room response (if positioned properly) as well as maybe adding a few db of output. However if you don't have issues with room modes and you could go with just one sub, the sub 15 would definitely improve upon what you have now.

The Sub 10 is hilariously inadequate for a room of that size. Sell it and get a real sub. I wouldn't both with any of the other Paradigm subs, at least if you can't get a really really good discount on them. They are good subs, just way over-priced for the performance you get.

Sell it and get two internet direct 15" and you will be happy. From HSU, SVS, Rythmik or PSA. Or you could consider DIY.

+1 go for Internet Direct sub companies. Not sure what a sub 10 goes for so I don't know what your budget is but if possible go with duals from: PSA, SVS, Hsu, Outlaw Audio, or Rythmik.
