Has Anyone Used a Crest Audio FA1201 to Power A Subwoofer?

I've been looking around for another pro amp to power my subwoofers. Someone at work has a Crest Audio FA1201 that they would let go for cheap ($80). I did a search and could not find much information on this amp.

Has anyone used one before. The power rating is decent: 280W @ 8 ohm stereo, 450W @ 4 ohm stereo, 960W @ 8 ohm bridged

Is this worth getting? How is the roll off on the low freq.?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Just bought a Crest Audio CA4 used and it seems to be in great condition. Used in a clean recording studio. Going to try it out on my Dayton Ultimax subs very soon. Nice beefy solid state power, large power supply. Comes in at 41 lbs.

I picked up the Crest Audio FA1201 and have used it off and on for a few months. It has been a great amp.

I have not used that amp, but have used Crest amps over the last 10 years. I used them in a Mobile DJ setup. I have never had an issue with them and have run them very hard.
