Testers for "YAIntegra (Onkyo) Remote over TCP" wanted.

Version 0.1.6 with some Directv support and some web browsing for the Integra.
Integra 0.1.6

changelog: fixed menu, disable control on connection
YAIntegra Remote 0.1.5

First version I feel comfortable to share around:
YAIntegra Remote v 0.1.2

.NET framework 3.5 should work from Windows XP to the infinity and beyond.
No installation, not registry keys, no dll, no external dependencies (well beside the .NET thingy).
Once launched the application create a semiserious .INI file in the launching folder.
I didn't make any effort to check the INI file.

Any feedback is highly appreciated.
Im not responsible of anything, anytime anywhere though.

Here the AV Receivers list the application should work with:

DTR-20.2, DTR-30.2, DTR-40.2, DTR-50.2, DTR-70.2, DTR-80.2
DHC-40.2, DHC-80.2
TX-NR708, TX-NR808, TX-NR1008, TX-NR3008, TX-NR5008, TX-NR509, TX-NR579
PR-SC5508

I started studing the onkyo/integra protocol some weeks ago and that lead to this proto.

Ill keep posting technical observations about the protocol

I couldn't find the download link amidst all the information you posted about your program. Talking about information overload! eek.gif

Not sure if sarcasm or real issue with the download. Im using/testing this small file host service no thrill, no complications but it could be a real problem.

The post got approved so I presumed at least one person is being able to download.

Thanks for the comment. Ill try out different hosting services and see if I can find something that keep trace of how many time a file is downloaded.
Any suggestion?

I was trying to be funny. rolleyes.gif

I didn't try the link but it was clearly there.

What does the program do? What is its purpose? What is it target audience?

As Johnny Five would say "Need Input".

I'm mostly exploring the protocol right now and putting together a basic controls GUI and debug output,

At this stage the program is not intended for final users but should be stable enough to let (tech) people
understand a bit what going on when the program try to access the receiver.

I still have many doubts about the Integra protocol and hope to gather enough interest around the project
and get some technical folks attention for suggestions.

Ill keep re editing the original first post with more info, new versions and changelogs if someone else is
interested, otherwise Ill probably just drop the project once it will cover my own needs.
Thanks again for the comment.

YAIntegra remote 0.1.6 : is the directv combo a good feature?
added a web browser control to test the connection and add radio to the integra.
