Did you not like those? Or have you not tried them.

They're all great games, and well worth the price (especially now, I'm betting you can get them pretty cheap).

DD is pretty good, I got it on 360 for cheap but wished it was PC instead. I hope the PS4 iteration is boss.

Yeah, terrible combat is one of my primary reasons for avoiding the FPS style RPG's. First Person is fine for a shooting game (though I don't like those either) but completely inadequate for a melee game. I much prefer something like Kingdoms of Amalur or Tales of for Action RPG combat.

Dragon Age was OK. That last battle was insane. My biggest hate of DA was the quest that never went away because I skipped the DLC. Amalur I got started on the Xbox but didn't get but a couple hours in before I gave up on it. Was cool but didn't suck me in enough to keep my 360 for. Dragons Dogma I have on Gamefly waiting to be shipped. Heard good things about it and definitely want to hit it up before Deep Down in case its a sequel.

I fired up DA on PC today. It's boring to me. Also not gonna lie, fired up a PS2 emulator and FF12. On the PC it looks like it could come out on current gen with minimal effort and do fine.

Yeah PCSX2 runs FFXII really well at high resolutions and looks awesome, I really wish they'd someday consider bringing the international job system version as an HD remake to the PS3/PS4.
