No, it just hangs there forever and does nothing. Tried 3 times now.
I'm having a few issues with it, I'm hoping the software update fixes them...
It is flakey locking on to some audio codecs first go (HDMI input), I need to flip between audio playback options in the source player (stereo/multichannel) for it to eventually lock on to the correct audio.
I've just tried playing the Saving Private Ryan DVD and it won't play the DTS soundtrack at all, it's just garbled noise...change source player to stereo pcm option and audio is fine, change back to DTS and I get garbled noise, had me quickly reaching for the remote control before my speakers launched into orbit. But DTS on other titles plays OK. Saving Private Ryan DTS played OK on my Integra.
Is there a setting that allows last selected HDMI input to pass through to the output when the unit is put in standby? Can you change the speaker channel delay units from millisecs to feet? The autoEQ is giving whacky results, my rear speakers are getting 0 ms of delay and the front are getting 3 ms, but the cal mic is closer to the rear speakers than the front, just doesn't make sense the closer speakers get more delay that the further speakers. Could a mix of direct and bi-polar speakers send the cal results whacky?
I've only had the unit in operation for a few hours and I'm kind of disappointed with it already, I hope the software update can fix these audio issues. When it's working it sounds good, but when it's not it sounds rubbish.
