looks absolutely stunning. Fox gave it a top-shelf treatment. An obvious investment was made into bringing out the best possible resolution and saturated color. Someone in a position to throw money around at Twentieth Century Fox must deeply love Marilyn Monroe's films.
It had to have been recently mastered at 4K, given the resulting picture quality. Complete 1080P screenshots for your perusal:http://www.doblu.com/2013/08/07/niagara-review/
Was more $$$ spent on this title?!?!
Where did you get that info from???
My guess is the "Niagara" master wasn't used/abused as much some of the other Marilyn titles; let alone other Fox Technicolor titles that have been released on BD & that the original photography was superior (comparatively speaking).
Super glad your sooooo pleased w/this release, re-motivated too pick it up soon as well!
