Amp advice for infinity rs3b speakers please

After drooling over a pair of infinity rs3b's locally I went and gave them a listen. Glad I did, these things are gorgeous and sound great. Problem is I am running a htib reciever until I find an amp.
So far I have read about refurbished harmon kardon hk 990 $1000 and the 3490 $320
The same gentleman I purchased the speakers from offered a pioneer a-717 $200 I also found a nad 1130 preamp amd a 2155 amp in my area for $250.
I am open to any suggestions, also what would you recomend for a digital to analog converter?
My budget would be aprox 1k.
Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Some of those older infinity's consume power like th black hole, some are even known to smoke amplifiers due to low impendance.

Some Amplifiers from HK already have built in DAC

if your into Vintage HIFI, Audiokarma.org would be good resource
