I suspect that the new JVCs will probably continue to set the benchmark for 2D, but 3D may still need some work.
That comment was from one OCD ghosting guy (me) to another (you).
I am guessing that if lovingdvd is OK with the ghosting on his Sony that he will most likely be OK with it on the JVC as well, but I am speculating. Zombie or someone else who has spent time with the 95 and last years JVCs could speak to this better. Then there is the flicker factor which the Sony might be a bit better at (?) vs the JVC.
You and me are very similar with our ghosting tolerance though and I can say VERY confidently that YOU would not be happy with a JVC for 3d. Guys like us need a single chip DLP for 3d to be totally content. Throw in a JVC for 2d (or preferably a Sony 4k if you can swing it) and this one/two punch will give the best of both worlds.
