I was surprised how clean the Stewart Ultramatt 1.5 gain screen looked with the RS67 though - it worked quite well with that projector.
Is the Ultramatt 1.5 available with microperf?
Between you and MIke, maybe you can help me get a handle on something. Looking at Projectorcentral's projection calculator, when looking at a 21.5' throw to a 118" 16:9 screen (to ultimately be 11' wide with anamorphic lens) and comparing the JVC's and Sony 1000ES, it shows the JVC as substantially brighter, in the order of 20fl to 15fl.
Does this sound like reality, or does the projection calculator just have bad numbers when it comes to the JVC's? While the 1000ES is out of my range, I might consider reaching for the 600ES, but my assumption had been that in addition to the 4k, it would be brighter than the JVC's, but based on the numbers of the RS56 and other JVC's vs. 1000ES on projectorcentral, I'm not so sure anymore.
