That sounds reasonable that it will end up being Smash Brothers.
I suspect they will toss in another HD remake out there as well sometime this year after the apparent success of Wind Waker HD. Perhaps one or more Metroid Primes since they already have a brand new 3D Mario that will be a good seller throughout 2014 and a HD Zelda remaster is already on store shelves to scratch that itch until Zelda U.
I also suspect that we'll get some form of a Luigi's Mansion release. Be it a HD port of the GCN original or the 3DS sequel or perhaps an original entry. Some retailers have posted listings for such a thing and Nintendo went out of their way to state that the "Year of Luigi" that they branded 2013 as would continue into 2014 (The recent Dr. Luigi was a December 31st release on the eShop so is technically a 2013 release).

I wish it were cheaper but I'm sure that Nintendo loves that they're in such a position with their back catalog. Most any other publisher would've been all but forced to sell such a thing for $20 or at most $30 or spice up the package with multiple HD remasters to justify a higher price (Imagine a Zelda HD trilogy with Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Wind Waker).
Speaks to the continuing value of their back catalog if they can get away with such a thing.Edited by Leo_Ames - 1/10/14 at 5:42pm
