Put it in the center inside the ent ctr. Mount it above the tv.

Its too wide. Doesnt fit in the ent. Ctr. Wont it sound or look weird if one or all the front speakers were mounted above the tv with the surrounds at ear level?
People mount centers above the tv all the time.

You could also make or buy a "riser" for the tv. Basically, a wooden box to set the tv on.

Google it. The internet can be very helpful. Try Amazon.

Wow you see buddy, thats the problem with online shopping, you have to read really careful their policy before making the purchase.

I hope that you find the way to return the speakers.

I'd still go with the NHTs. Put one in the tv stand, and get some speaker stands to spread the fronts out some. Nice tv stand, btw.

The room isn't that big. It looks like the couch is only about 4-5 feet from the tv.

Thread's back from the dead! So the TL1600s tweeters were apparently blown on arrival. They accepted a return for refund. Best buy's deal on the Pio's appears to be over. Any recommendations on the path now? Ty all for your continued help.
Youve waited this long, wait until the Pioneers go on sale at Frys and BB will match. It happens pretty often.
the NHT's for $60 are gone now too.

Hopefully you'll find your Pioneers on sale soon.

So...the pioneers are in stock at my local microcenter. What's the sound quality difference between the floor standing and the bookshelves? I'd like to save space if possible. Is it okay to use 4 book shelves, the center and the sub or are the towers better designed for it?
Perfectly okay to use 4 bookshelf speakers and a center but I think the towers are better if you're willing to spend the extra money for front speakers.

I'm not sure I have adequate space on both sides of the tv as well as the sub for floors. I may pull the trigger on the BS22s, C22, and the 8KW sub. The sale has the total combined price of the new units at $322 after tax. It appears to be a decent deal.

That's a great deal. Enjoy!!

Good deal.

So the dilemma continues. The center is too big, that was known...but the bookshelves can't be mounted - any solutions to this?

Thanks again for all the help. I bought the BS22s, C22 and the Pio sub for $324 after tax. I'm very happy with the purchase.
