haha, ok, I wondered how long until my comment was called out.
I guess what I should say, is i'll buy the one that is the best stand alone game console. for example, when xbox one originally required an 'always on' internet connection, that was an immediate deal breaker. I will only buy systems that will work 'off the grid' since I don't trust that i'll always have reliable internet.
and I don't want to pay for extra features i'll never use, so I wouldn't buy something complex until prices have fallen way down to a point it doesn't really matter that I won't be using them.
games will be the other main deciding factor. i'm not a fan of a ton of different games, and historically PS hasn't had many exclusives I was interested in. I really hope that changes, because MS has really gone the opposite way I would have wanted with this new generation.
there's a couple things that need to happen before I upgrade
-prices need to fall below 300
-PS needs to get some games I really want to play
-xbox style controllers are released for the PS4
-MS needs to do something major to win me back. i'm honestly not even sure what this might be, but I really don't like the 'centre of your living room' concept they went with.
