Killing Season

Didn't see a thread for this one, but definitely worth checking out.

With John Travolta and Robert DeNiro

Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, a reclusive American military veteran and a European tourist strike up an unlikely friendship. But when the tourist's true intentions come to light, what follows is a tense battle across some of America's most forbidding landscape proving the old adage: the purest form of war is one-on-one.

Not the greatest critic here, but this movie is demo material in dolby true hd with a great performance from Travolta and DeNiro kept me entertained from start to finish. Rented from redbox and would recommend a rental.

Not a bad movie only 81 minutes long somewhat suspenseful as Travolta and DeNiro take turns trying to kill each other. Travolta looks like he should be on Amish Mafia with a wrap around the chin beard look. This is the type of movie that could have been really good with another 20 -25 minutes of high energy story telling. Purchased from Amazon for $14.99.

I watched this last night and enjoyed it too. I thought for a moment Deniro would do the deed towards the end, but when considered with his final closing scene, it fits well.

Both Travolta and Deniro were very convincing in their performances.
