I am in process of building a new home with a home theater. The room is a dedicated light controlled room. It is roughly 16' wide by 25' long. I would like to have a 130"wide screen in this room. It will need to be an AT screen. I would like to know is this possible with DIY, or are the screens gain to low. I plan on using the zoom to fit method with a projector, not a lens. Does anyone have experience doing this? I have been looking at the JVC projectors. What are the latest materials to use for the screen? What about making masking panels for 16:9 content?
