No offense, but having heard a dts-10 on a couple occassions I believe the jtr cap seems more powerful. Yet a single dts-10 has a higher score than dual caps in the same size room. You don't have to change anything on my account, but I just provide an observation.
Also how are we defining reference?
I've owned jamo d7 thx ultra 2 subs which are certified by thx to hit reference to thx 2 ultra standards when used in pairs. The hsu vtf-15 was superior when the subs were a/b'ed and measured by luke kamp and I on multiple occassions. The jtr cap and seaton submersive are so superior to that jamo d7 sub it isn't even a comparison. So the scoring brackets seem a higher bar than how the industry certifies at least according to thx.
