So yesterday I spent all day building an 18' wide stage for the theater room. The first layer of OSB for the top is down and I need to add the second layer to finish it off. I have read that most people are putting roofing felt in between layers but wanted to see what people thought of using liquid nails instead (and regular nails) .
Is the layer of felt really crucial for minimizing the vibrations?
Notes: roofing felt was used as the stage base layer as well as 2000+ lb of sand to fill the stage.
