outdoor speaker project.. sort of.

Hi All,

I have an odd project to do and I just need some help sourcing the right equipment.

My neighbors across the street have a band. They play Mexican Mariachi music or something of that nature. I actually quite enjoy it .. but not all the time and not at the DB they're use to. I've asked them to tone it down but of no avail. Which is fine, they are within their rights to play it.

But..

Walking down the street one night I believe my other neighbors also have the same "problem" im having. To combat this they they play classic Motown music and it was fannn-tastic at the same "loudness" to mask.

I want to setup a system with outdoor speakers that does this:
1. External Mic will recognize Mariachi music (actually any music would be okay since thats all they play anyways, but mariachi would be best )
2. Triggers a looping playlist of Classic American Love songs.. stuff from COAST 103.5-type of thing, nothing offensive (or a mp3 list of my choice)
3. volume will adjust to match the same db (or close enough)
4. Turn off automatically once the Marachi source is off.

I already have house server running that can handle any software that is required for this setup but I would like your advise on how to best facilitate this.

Thank you!

Geez. If classical music makes you smarter, I'd submit mariachi makes you dumber. You should make a parabolic dish speaker that you could beam over to them. Add a spotlight to the list as well.
