tcp65vt60 still worth it?

So it's been out for months now. Is it still worth it? Before it launched it was on everyone's radar and was "as good as" or maybe even "better" than the legendary kuro. I don't have a kuro, so obviously that's a moot point. But now that it's been in people's hands is it worth it? I've still never owned a plasma so am still not quite sure how it'll compare to my led.

It's a great set is it the equal of a Kuro depends on who you talk to, I haven't heard too much negative about the set other than some fan noise complaints. It is going to look different than you led due to the nature of the technology some people like the natural look of plasma some don't. There are some pretty good deals to be had on Panasonics right now btw

Yeah, I've wanted it for a long while now and it's only $2700 USD. I only check on it once a month or so, but the cheapest I've seen it before that is $3100. So it's definitely worth looking into. And my birthday is in a couple days and that's in an affordable range so I think I can talk my wife into letting me get it, lol.

I just wanted to get some user input on it now that's it's been out long enough to be in people's hands.

I am not an owner, post in the VT60 thread and ask some questions people will be pretty honest if they have seen an issue. That would make a great birthday present, buy me one also wink.gif
