The team is in the ditch forever and the last few years they are a real powerhouse.
Must be fun. I don't have to be from there to get it wink.gif

Beating out the old/longtime franchises with big money/power is sweet. Bet they hate the "Who Dat"
I tasted a little "Owlins" in the day. I ain't Bad At Awl.

Wow, FOX got hosed this week. Has the Doubleheader, has nothing to show for it. DAL/NYG obvious choice for National game of the week, but a bunch of duds in the early slot. Meanwhile over on CBS singleheader, plenty of games I would like to see.

Including jets ravens. Nfl red zone didn't have their ticker on until half an hour after kickoff.

NYJ @ BAL
WCBS-DT NYC (1 SD sub channel) FiOS.
Very grainy video on the ground cams and during fast camera movement.
Enough with annoying bird sound from the Ravens fans!!!

I'm listening to the jets radio feed. Doesn't sync up perfectly with the channel 2 feed but on redzone it works fine.

The NBC scoreboard looks really awkward without the game clock.

Yeah, that was interesting. Loved it when Al Michaels said "Well, I guess the half is over" and players were walking off the field.

I'm looking at week 14 and the original SNF game (ATL/GB) is now a serious candidate for flexing out. Best replacement would be CAR/NO.

Might actually happen, doesn't look like it's protected on the Fox schedule (if I'm reading the info correctly on the site - SEA/SF is in italics, so I'm guessing that's the protected game).
Yep, it's gonna be Saints/Panthers Sunday night December 8th.

You do realize that was out of NBC's control, since the Gillette Stadium clock wasn't working for at that particular time.

I know why it was out. I was just commenting on what that did to NBC's graphics.

I've looked at weeks 15 and 16 at the506.com/nflmaps and neither Sunday night game should be flexed out (Cin/Pit Wk 15, NE/Bal Wk 16).

For week 17, here are the leading candidates for flex (as of the time I post this): Bal/Cin, KC/SD, Phi/Dal, SF/Az.

I'll start the day out. The Packers/Lions game looks like Horse ****. D* WNYW

Looks like WLFD in Chicago is having some issues - right now they have the SD feed on instead of the HD feed. HD feed has been off and on so far.

Not that is a big loss, but what's up the the center channel on the FOX game today? I just re-ran Audyssey yesterday so i know i have it close but i have to run the center channel 10 db hot today just to hear them.mad.gif

Not having those issues here. The sound is the only thing I would consider HD.

Must be a local issue WXXV Fox 25 Thur Direct TV out of Gulfport,MS. Not the first time there has been problems with them!!

I love the Thanksgiving and playoffs games because the constant tickers aren't on the screen. The FOX and CBS production is so much more clean not having those constant tickers at the bottom of the screen.
+ 1000 Zippy!!! Fox is the worst with their Blue Ticker. All of the Networks could take a cue from the NBC Hockey score-line, at the TOP of the screen, off the ice, or in the the Football case, off the field.....The NFL Ch Bug might as well be in the middle of the screen.

In terms of audio quality i rank nbc #1, cbs #2, fox #3, nfl network #4, and espn #5.

Does anyone know if Wendel is still doing sound for NBC?

Bengals/Chargers from San Diego is blacked out. Time to break out Plan B and I don't mean using those crappy sports streaming sites either.

So what's Plan B?

1. Buying a ticket to the game
2. Flying to Cincinnati to watch it on TV
3. Getting the old Philco radio out of the closet and "enjoying" it the old-fashioned way

Looking at the maps, he could drive to Yuma, AZ and watch it there (for some reason, the local affiliate didn't switch to the KC/DEN game).

But that's over-analyzing. Easier Plan B is sports bar.

Thanks to the breaking news of the train derailment in the Bronx, the NFL pregame show on CBS as well as the Jets Flight Plan were shown on WCBS' sister station WLNY TV. As for the football game, it will be shown in its entirety on CBS 2. Channel 5 in NYC has 49ers vs Rams while CBS has the big game of the day, Chiefs Broncos. I'm actually dvring the mid season finale of walking dead while watching Gmen skins...hope the giants don't get eliminated.

Giants are done- even if they do win... too little too late.
Not that I have anything to look forward to- the Jets are a mess too mad.gif

Plan B is using a roundabout way and using NFL Game Pass.

Sports bars in San Diego, Orange County and LA we're also blacked out legally. CBS in Yuma Az. was showing the game, so the Sports Bars there had it... Direc Tv Red Zone showed a lot of the game... Chargers wore their Powder Blues...
