Most of those are line input PAL to NTSC converters, not the tuner he would need in AUS. Your link does list a few analog PAL tuners to NTSC but my guess is AUS may use all digital like everyone is converting to.
My suggestion is to take your Vizio(which are know for supporting 50hz even though they don't say so) and purchase a digital OTA tuner(or if using cable or satellite their STB).
Again Vizios(and both the ones I have) display 50hz(sometimes referred to as PAL) just fine, they just don't have the DVB-T tuner you might need.
Steve, 8VSB is the type of modulation used in our OTA ATSC standard, QAM is one type of modulation used in ATSC for cable operators.
