Question about Martin Logan Motion Vision soundbar with newer blurays

I just purchased the martin logan motion vision sound bar but have not set it up yet . It decodes dolby 5.1 and dts , my question is what happens when I play a newer bluray with it that has a dolby true hd 7.1 soundtrack ? I know it wont decode true hd ,but would I still get dolby digital 5.1 ?I'm looking at the back of Star Trek into darkness right now and for the feature film it says English 7.1 dolby true hd , with the other languages being in 5.1 . soundbar will be hooked up with optical cable directly from a ps3 and/or a sony bluray player . Just hoping it wont go to stereo or something of poor quality on these newer discs , any feedback or answers would be much appreciated , thank you

Set your player(s) to output bitstream with secondary audio off. That will give you the core DD5.1/DTS which the soundbar will decode.
