guys I'm very confused. I just setup a 3.1 system on my second floor using def towers (BP 7006) and RW-12 subs. Here is the crazy part. I can hear the bass so amazing. I am watching Argo as of now on HBO and I can hear very low bass here. Something I think I don't even hear in the theater room. Am I going nuts or it's just the movie that has so much very low bass. The bass is not loud but I can hear all these low bass in every scene that I always expected before. It's just amazing how this sub is sounding here. This room is very open and I put the sub in the corner. Even my wife was surprised. I can hear the lowest bass one can imagine. The best way to justify will be watch this movie in the theater room if that room does pick all these low bass as it does here. The crazy part is that even low sound suspense music in the background has this bass I can hear. Just mind blowing how amazing bass sounds here. We made sure that we can get the best bass in the theater room
I know that room can have an impact but this is just a huge difference. This sub didn't sound anything near to what it sounds on this floor.
Since I have an almost perfect graph, does it mean that I am getting the best sound possible from subs? I really have to watch this movie in the theater to see the difference. Have any of you have seen it? Does it have good low bass in general.
Here are the pics of the room RW-12 is placed in. I'm using Sherwood R-972 receiver.
What do you guys think is the main reason of such a big difference?
