This may be a daft question...

... but with that much space, wouldn't it be possible to build some horns with something crazy like <10Hz tuning?

Yes i pretty much can fit anything but reason i choose this because its my first ever build or cutting wood. Lol trying to keep it simple and build my conference up before i tackle a horn design! And im not going for extension as much 18hz and up is fine with me for now.

"How would this beast compare to the Marty Sub?"

this is kind of like dual marty subs in a single enclosure, BUT the enclosure is a little smaller so the low end sensitivity is a little less, but just a little. the other difference is the ports. this version employs round ports that are smaller than the slot in the marty sub. port velocity will be higher, so chuffing and compression may set in a little earlier, but it should still be ok, more or less.

well, frankie had an idea in his head and we were able to figure it out pretty quick...

several folks are hungry for ideas and the conquest is no longer available.

i thought it looked pretty badass when it was finished so it needed a badass name.

it is just raw... no recessed drivers... front mount ports... big and heavy... like an atomic bomb... no finesse... just... pure... annihilation.

its name was already inherent to it, we just discovered it.

:-)
