Salisbury, MD: Looking for new Antenna to go on top of existing 30ft Tower

All-

I am trying to assist a grandparent with cutting the cord to cable (the cost is getting to much for them) and they have an existing antenna tower but would need a new antenna (HD).

Can anyone provide some good suggestions for antenna brands / models / etc? (i.e. ChannelMaster)

Also, I put the address in TVFool in case that helps with reception questions...

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Your nearby Salisbury, MD stations are about 40 miles and UHF for the major networks. A 4-bay or 8-bay UHF antenna could work there, and possible medium gain preamp. But if you want Baltimore or Philadelphia, it becomes a bit more involved. Some are VHF and more distant. Perhaps a 91XG UHF antenna and a separate VHF antenna. And DC and New York may be a bit beyond range, but I would definitely try for Baltimore.
