Best HTPC for gaming?

I came across this build online and it really jumped out at me. What I particularly like about it is that this is a dedicated gaming HTPC. As someone who has been doing living room gaming for some time now, I am really attracted to the notion of a HTPC that has the performance capabilities of a desktop gaming rig.
Also, I really like the color scheme of the interior and the solid quality of the chassis. This is definitely something I would put on my AV rack, and as this system pretty much destroys the one I am currently using, and I am in need of an upgrade, I am thinking I am going to pull the trigger on it.

What do you think?

Too rich for my blood, that is.

But yeah, it is very, very cool looking.

I went with a Fractal Designs chassis for my home theater and it looks really nice to my eyes:

Yea, I definitely understand what you guys mean. It does seem a little steep.
However, two things that attract me to this build is that it is liquid cooled (something that I have no experience with doing myself), which will make it very silent! smile.gif And also that it is already optimized for 4K playback. I am definitely looking into getting a 4K TV very soon (that will be my next purchase) and this rig will have the power to get that done.

Considering these points, what do you guys think?

I definitely like the look of it, but I do not like the price of it. Liquid cooling is only as good as the radiator and fans used. and if the cooler is running full blast it can get noticeably loud. I would still say you're better off building it yourself, or finding someone to build it after you buy the parts. But final decision is always up to the buyer. If you don't want to do that or aren't comfortable, then by all means buy that thing (since it does look fantastic), just know you're paying a lot more.

Are you batman of the internet?

I read a couple of the other links, surprising that the first response is always, "too expensive." That is a sign.

If you're going to promote your company's product, do so openly. Deception just puts people off and has them question all other elements of the company's integrity.

What he said.

I was actually interested - now less so. Can't stand viral marketing.
If you want to market luxury product then do it openly.
