I need RF remote advice for equipment in a closet.

So after about a year I finally have my media room up and going. Most of the major project are complete and now it's time to setup the remote..ugh

So I have the following in a closet in the room...

Samsung-UN60F7100 LED
Yamaha-RX-A730 Receiver
Polk-Audio-RC85i speakers
Polk Sub
Apple Airport Express
SAmsung BluRay
ATT Uverse Box
ATT Standard Uverse IR REmote
Next Gen RF Remote Extender

So my issue is I have all of my devices in a closet in my media room, but can't seem to get the Uverse IR remote, the Next Gen RF extender and my Yamaha receiver to play nice. I have the Uverse remote to power on everything and power off everything at the same time, but the receiver is hit or miss.

I have 2 other Next Gen in my house hooked up to 2 more TV's that work great with the Uverse remote, but they do not have a receiver in the mix.

If I keep the closet door open and take the NextGen out of the mix I can get everything to power of on/off as I would like every single time, but with the door closed using the NextGen it hits or miss with the receiver. Sometimes it powers on, but not off and vice versa. Basically it just not reliable and after hours and hours of trying different ideas I'm looking for another route. I understand this mean I will need to spend more $$, but at this point I can get it to work as I would like.

Does anyone have any ideas for my current setup or is there a better RF remote that will work? I'm not looking to add a bunch of macros I just want everything on/off at the same time with reliability. : )

Thanks in advance for the help!
