Just when I was all comphy and settled in with my last room...we are moving...again!

This new house will be done on Halloween, and I just started the theater pre-wire and installed new construction brackets.

The room will be:

20x12.5x8

I have 2 rows of seats. 1 at 11 feet, the other at 16.The 2nd row is on a 8" tall riser. We will have a total of 7 seats.

The Projector is a JVC RS-56
with a Panamorph DC1 anamorphic lens and slide.

The chairs are Salamander AV Matteo

The screen is 138" 2.35:1 Seymour AV Center Stage with a Da lite Pro image masking system.

Speakers will be a 7.1 set-up of in wall Triads and the fronts will be behind the scree.

Gold LCRs

4 Silver Surrounds

4 Inwall Bronze Subs

They will be run off a Onkyo PRSC-5508
and a Sunfire TGA-7201

I will have absorption at the first reflection points and treat the subs with bass traps as needed.

I will add pics of the room with wires and pre-construction brackets tonight.

Viewing Dimensions are: 54" x 126" = 138" 2.35:1 and 110" 16:9

Masking system dimensions are 66" x 135"

Some lousy pics of the construction-- just with pre-construction brackets and wires--

is that fair game to run wires behind framing lumber?

seems like a way easier way to do it but not something I see very often.

I'm guessing that you might not be able to do that with electrical for code reasons?

Sure is. its only done because there as its an exterior wall. Cant do it where rock is on both sides.
However, its run but not tided up yet.

I remember your last room had M&K's. How do you think they'll stack up to the Triads? Also do you have someone that did the design for your room (acoustics, etc.) or did you handle that end of it?

Finally Some Progress---

Here you can see my speaker layout--pic one has the front LCRs as well as the 2 subs in the corners.
Pic 2 has the rears, the stage for A back row of 3 as well as 2 more subs.

I will upload pictures with most of the finish done ASAP.

I think he answered the question from a couple of months ago about the wiring. He must not have seen that you answered it already.
