thanks for your feedback so far. Do you have a tripod? This would be ideal, otherwise prop the camera on a steady object. To get close ups of the RC / Darbee changes, pick a good scene from Oblivion, there are a ton of great close ups.
Place the camera about 1/2 way between the screen and seating distance. Zoom in and focus on an area of detail. Looking through the eye piece, make the changes (turn RC on / off) etc and make sure you can see the changes through the eye piece.
Set the shutter for manual, keep the aperture wide open and set the shutter speed to around 1/30. Try a few sample shots. Experiment with shutter speeds between 1/20 and 1/100 or so, depending on how bright your screen is, etc. Basically try to match shutter speed so that the image matches what your eye is seeing.
Once you're all set, use the automatic timer so there is no camera shake when triggering the shutter.
